Neighborhood break-in

Guest post of the week by Moises Henderson

About three weeks ago there was a break-in in our neighborhood, and it really scared me. I have been asking my husband since we moved into our current home to purchase a home security system, and after the break-in he finally decided to do it. What is so ironic about the break-in is that it happened to a police officer’s home. We do not know them that well, but we have met them several times. Apparently, he was on duty when it happened. No one was home, and they broke a back window to get into the home. They took some electronic equipment and some jewelry and left. I am sure he will use his influence at the police station to hunt down the people who broke into his home, but it is still scary to think that a police officer’s home was robbed in broad daylight. I am sure that the criminals did not know that they were robbing a cop’s house until they were inside. When my husband heard about the break-in, he finally agreed it was time for a home security system.

Bought it

Thanks to Erasmo Cortez
Bought my first place! I’m so excited to do something new and really take it to the next level but I can’t say my parents weren’t instrumental in getting me into this place. They helped me look for just the right condo and I’m happy I was able to find this one. They knew it was over my budget and they even offered to help me with the down payment which was really nice since they certainly didn’t have to do it and could have told me to have cheaper tastes. My mom got me all set up on http://www.HOMEsecuritysystem.com and my dad helped me with the home improvement stuff like painting and re-tiling the bathroom and it was really nice to have the place pretty much done when I went to move in. I can’t wait to get the rest of my furniture in the house and I also hope to have a dinner party sometime soon for some of my friends to see the new place – I know they’re going to be impressed with what I have

Shopping

Shopping

This guest post from Lewis Beck

I love shopping and I love clothes, and I like to think that they are my therapy. After a hard week, it always feels good to get lost in a crowd and spend my day looking at pretty things. I usually like to spend my weekends at the mall, shopping for new clothes, but lately work has me completely drained. On the weekend, the last thing I want to do is be on my feet all day, and sometimes the drive to the mall alone is enough to change my mind. Luckily there’s a way to shop without leaving my house that I’m really coming to enjoy. Since I was able to Get Wild Blue, I’ve replaced my usual shopping trips with online shopping. Some of my friends say that they like the recreational aspect of shopping, and they claim that online shopping doesn’t do it for them. They like to hold the clothing in their hands, try them on, and feel the ambiance of the stores. I argue that once you get used to online shopping you can get the same rush from finding your size and a great price online, and it’s easy to handle after a tough week at work.

Wedding Invitations

It's something that surprisingly I hadn't thought of yet. So I Googled it up and found a website that really caught my attention, Wedding Needs . I found a lot of cute and interesting designs that caught my fancy.

There are a lot of different amazing styles including classic and modern. Even some really destination invitations that are adorable. I really like these Vegas Inspired invitations.

The website features a search tool that allows you to refine by style, color, theme, etc. A really awesome idea instead of scrolling upon pages and pages..Which can get a little frustrating,

Watching Brooke Shields as Morticia

Guest post written by Peggy Stringer

I've been following Brooke Shields's career for quite a while now. So when we started planning our trip to New York City, I knew that she was playing Morticia Addams in the Broadway play for The Addams Family and wanted to go and see it.

While I was looking up some more information about the play, I ran across the site hearingaidsreviews.com. After I looked through it a little bit, I decided to sign up for a free hearing aid test and then I ended up buying some of them before we went on our trip.

Just like I thought it would be, the Addams Family on Broadway was so much fun to watch! Not only was it good, but it was also very funny. I've always loved how The Addams Family is very morbid but at the same time very light-hearted. But I think that's why a lot of people have always loved them so much. That kind of humor was definitely triggered through to the play, but I would have been extremely disappointed if it hadn't been.

This Bride To Be Wants CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting is the latest trend in cosmetic surgery using FDA cleared and patented new technology to get rid of stubborn fat without going under the knife. As a bride to be I have a few problem areas that don't seem to do anything even with diet and exercise like my upper arms and back bacon. I can almost see myself wearing my wedding gown without the arm and back flab bulging out.

12 Weeks To Change Challenge  is a current promotion they are running on their Facebook Page. I have entered. The grand prize is a procedure valued at $1,500 and various weekly prizes. I have entered. *crosses fingers*

Visit CoolSculpting's Facebook Page & like them in order to enter 12 Weeks to Change Challenge.

Beautiful Rings

So I've been dreaming about THE ring.

3 carat diamond ring

It's soo hard to decide if I would rather have a more traditional wedding ring or something a little more "me" and unique. I think it would be nice to have something that I would adore and get to wear forever and ever. After all, I do want to be with my fiancée forever. So I thought I would include some awesome examples.

Genuine Black & White Diamond Ring in Sterling Silver- A nice engagement ring in my opinion.

Or....http://jewelry-and-watches.become.com/images/shop/1x1tran.gifI like the more traditional rings with larger diamonds.. There are many types of awesome diamond rings included in the links. Traditional wedding rings to me, scream
Look at how much money he spent. Now I totally understand why they say a diamond is a girls best friend.

*      Though, what is tradition? You get an engagemet ring and you pick a wedding ring or set? I think my fiancée and I would have different opinions. He is definitely the ying to my yang.

It's a tough decision! That's for sure...Even more excited about the big day!
